PACA members and non-members alike have access to a range of classes and educational opportunities that help them compete in a diverse and changing market. PACA is committed to educate and inform its members and/or the industry through in-person and online programs and events, ranging from the Spring Thaw (safety focus), to the Young Leaders / LDG Conference, to the PA Politics 101 (advocacy outreach), to the Summer Summit and the Annual Meeting.
In all, PACA delivers close to ten events per year on a variety of topics and subjects taught by top notch speakers and content experts, not including all the active committees that meet throughout the year.
PACA also supports learning to benefit all industry stakeholders. We recognize that our diverse industry can only succeed by strengthening all.

The ACI is a nationally recognized organization that provides industry-specific certification in 21 different subjects.
PACA offers exams for Concrete Field Testing Technician – Grade I (spring and fall semesters annually), Flatwork Finisher / Technician (as needed) and Strength Testing (as needed) certifications.
In addition, PACA holds classroom tutorials each spring and fall annually to help individuals prepare for the ACI Concrete Field Testing Technician – Grade I exam.
Each fall, PACA holds an Annual Meeting at the beautiful Hotel Hershey in Hershey, Pennsylvania. Not only is this PACA's largest meeting of the year, it is also serves as the Association's annual business meetings and features updates from state agencies, board elections, awards presentations and outstanding keynote speakers.
The Summer Summit, held each June, is PACA's executive level retreat. The Summit features a little of everything - education, camaraderie, and an ounce of competitive edge! High-end speakers, laid back networking and some friendly fun and games make this event one that you should not miss.

PACA's PA Politics 101 is the opportunity to learn how to be more influential in the state political scene to benefit both your company and your family.
PACA-MSHA Spring Thaw
In partnership with the Mine Safety & Health Administration, this event is the preeminent safety conference of the year, offering six (6) of the eight (8) hours of Part 46 refresher requirements.

Designed for the under age 40 members of PACA focusing on leadership and team building to stress that leadership is the capacity to translate vision into reality.
