View TemplateHere are two letters that were forwarded to Governor Wolf and the PA Congressional Delegation. The message of these letters are to protect Motor License Fund (MLF) during the upcoming PA budget negotiations and request FAST Act reauthorization and monies to state DOTs by the Federal Government.
The following letter was forwarded on April 15th to Sec. Levine, Dept. of Health, Sec. Davin, Dept. of Community and Economic Development and Mr. Brunelle, Governor Wolf’s Chief of Staff. We view those three individuals as the decision triad behind Governor Wolf’s actions. Furthermore, we anticipate that these three individuals will be representing PA along with the Governor in the Northeast COVID Corridor Council.

This is an unprecedented time for our Commonwealth, our nation and, frankly, the entire planet. You have heard and seen much on COVID-19 and I will not belabor the challenges that we are facing. Our industry is committed to taking all the appropriate precautions and implementing federal, state and local guidance to safeguard our workforce, our customers and the families of our working men and women.
Our priority is for everyone in our community to be safe and to flatten the curve as quickly as possible. We will continue to monitor this situation on a daily basis and we've added a COVID-19 page on our website to keep you informed of the latest developments. In addition, we acted proactively to minimize the spread by cancelling or postponing numerous events, meetings and certification exams through April 30.
Our Association will continue to function with staff working remotely to serve our members. We have launched an online members forum to create a platform for interaction and engagement. We will maintain for as long as needed.
We will come out of this stronger and more resilient than ever. Please look after yourselves and your families and stay safe and healthy.
