It is with much sadness that we share the news of the passing of Richard Holderman.
Richard L. Holderman, 71 of Northampton, PA, passed away on Wednesday, January 24, 2024, at the Community at Rockhill Nursing Home in Sellersville, PA. Born September 23, 1952 in Allentown, PA, he was the son of the late Harry Holderman and the late Edna (Kistler) Holderman. He was the husband of Elizabeth M. (Tukovits)Holderman with whom he shared 50 years of marriage this past July 7, 2023.
Richard was the Vice President of Operations for New Enterprise Stone & Lime Co., Center Valley, PA for 42 years before retiring in 2014. Richard was a member and Operations Workshop Chair for the Pennsylvania Aggregate and Concrete Association. He was also the Operations Division Chair for the National Sand & Stone Association. He was a member of Faith Evangelical Lutheran Church, Whitehall, PA. In his spare time he enjoyed, sporting clays, hunting, fishing, gardening, cooking and golf.
Surviving along with his wife Elizabeth are daughter, Lisa A. wife of Matthew Vasey of Sellersville, PA, brother, James Holderman and wife Gloria of Schnecksville, PA, sisters, Elaine wife of Walter Bilous of Slatington, PA, Janet wife of Jeffrey Dziedzic of Whitehall, PA and Robin wife of Michael Weber of Slatington, PA. and 2 grandchildren.
A Funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM on Tuesday January 30, 2024 at Schisler Funeral Home, 2119 Washington Ave. Northampton, PA 18067 with the Rev. Peggy Wuertele officiating. The family will receive friends from 7:00 PM to 8:30 PM on Monday, January 29, 2024 and Tues Jan. 30, 2024 from 10:00 AM until time of service both at the funeral home. Interment will follow in Our Lady of Hungary Cemetery, Northampton, PA.
