Effective January 1, 2024, the PA Turnpike Commission (PTC) began implementing e-ticketing. E-ticketing will be required for producers supplying PTC contracts in the 2024 construction season. The Turnpike’s version differs from PennDOT’s as they have contracted with Haul Hub to directly provide the interface from our systems to their inspection personnel. The Turnpike has reported that this has gone very smoothly on the projects that they piloted across the state this past year. Many producers are already connected with the e-ticketing vendor Haul Hub.
If you have not done so already, it would be advisable for producers to access the PTC Haul Hub portal invite webpage at www.haulhub.com/pennsylvania-turnpike/ if they haven’t already done so in preparation for the 2024 construction season.
