In Memoriam

We were recently made aware of the passing of Mrs. Dolores Liptak, wife of Mike Liptak and mother of Vince Pagano.  Dolores was a frequent attendee of PACA meetings and was well known to many of our members.  Following is a copy of her obituary.  We wish to pass along our condolences to her family and friends.

Dolores Stockton Liptak, of Harrisburg and Bradenton, FL, passed away with her family by her side on Friday January 31, 2025 at the age of 80.

Born June 13, 1944, in Mt. Ranier, MD, she was a daughter of the late Wilbur Stockton and Dolores Stockton Augustus.

A graduate of St. Mary’s Cathedral High School of Trenton, NJ, Dolores continued her education through banking courses and Bank Marketing at the University of Colorado in Boulder, CO.

Dolores retired as Vice President of Wells Fargo Bank (formerly Hamilton Bank) and had also served as President of Tri Cor Consulting, a private consulting firm. She was active in the community as a Board Member of the March of Dimes, Friends of Fort Hunter, Leadership Harrisburg, the Multiple Sclerosis Society, Rotary Club of Harrisburg and a facilitator of the United Way Board Loaned Executive Program. She was a former member of the Country Club of Harrisburg.

Dolores is survived by her husband of 47 years, H. Michael Liptak; sons, Vincent Pagano (JoAnn) and Christopher Pagano (Melissa) and her grandchildren, Madison, Gabriella, Cassidy, Andi Grace and Nicholas. She is also survived by her brothers, Thomas, William, Richard and Robert Stockton and her sister, Elizabeth VanDyk. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Christine Marie Pagano and her sister, Phyllis Stickler.
