PennDOT/PACA Initiative: Improve the Durability and Service Life of Concrete

This one-day course provides the certification needed to meet the current PennDOT requirements.  It features a classroom and hands on portion and is focused on construction practices to provide durable long-lasting exterior concrete.

This nationally recognized certification course was developed by the National Ready Mixed Concrete Association (NRMCA) and provided locally by PACA.

In total, over 2,200 Pennsylvania finishers attended the NRMCA Exterior Flatwork Finishers Certification Course delivered by PACA since 2019 and have now received their certification making Pennsylvania the number one state providing this certification.

PACA's Online e-Learning Center

This program provides free continuing education to the design and specifying communities. There are currently four courses available, ranging from 30-60 minutes focused on the cement, aggregates and concrete industries. You'll receive a certificate of completion once you pass a quiz. The bookmarking feature allows you to leave the course and resume where you left off when you return
